LifeRing
LifeRing is about providing an abstinence-based, secular, and self-empowered addiction recovery pathway through our meetings and support network.
LifeRing Secular Recovery is an organization of people who share practical experiences and sobriety support. There are as many ways to live free of illicit or non-medically indicated drugs and alcohol as there are stories of successful sober people. Many LifeRing members attend other kinds of meetings or recovery programs, and we honor those decisions. Some have had negative experiences in attempting to find help elsewhere, but most people soon find that LifeRing’s emphasis on the positive, practical present-day can turn anger and despair into hope and resolve. LifeRing respectfully embraces what works for each individual.

AA Group #431993
Everyone deserves an equal pathway in the pursuit of recovery. We're proud to promote "all recovery" meetings locally as an alternative to Alcoholics Anonymous. You can check out Anchor or RICAREs for more information.
An “All Recovery” meeting is “non-denominational,” meaning all pathways of recovery are embraced. A universal recovery topic is chosen and then the group discusses it. It is not affiliated with any “anonymous” program, although you are likely to hear comments associated with 12 step fellowships.
SMART Recovery
SMART Recovery is the leading, evidence-informed approach to overcoming addictive behaviors and leading a balanced life. SMART is stigma-free and emphasizes self-empowerment.
SMART stands for Self-Management and Recovery Training. This is more than an acronym: it is a transformative method of moving from addictive substances and negative behaviors to a life of positive self-regard and willingness to change.
Far too many people feel powerless over their lives and carry a sense of futility, a dread of staying trapped within an addiction pattern and locked into their circumstances. SMART helps them learn the skills they need to overcome their addictions and transform their lives.
SMART was created for people seeking a self-empowering way to overcome addictive problems. What has emerged is an accessible method of recovery, one grounded in science and proven by more than a quarter-century of experience teaching practical tools that encourage lasting change.
